Police crack down on Ugandan protesters Activists in Uganda have been inspired by the Arab Spring to organise strikes in the country.
However, protests over the last six months, which have been fuelled by rising costs and political corruption, have often been put down brutally by police and the army.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports from Kampala.
