Ethiopian Government Continue to Sabotage the Release of the German Hostages in Afar Region of Ethiopia

Our recent assessment indicates that the Afar Region in Ethiopia is closed for any visit by journalists and/or humanitarian organizations. The already existing systematic isolation, movement restrictions and crackdown is becoming more severe and critical after the Erta Ale incident 24th, January, where five European tourists were killed and two others captured.
