The VOA journalist, Henok was alerted about the action he missed at the entrance of the Regan Building. Apparently he was not interested even to ask on what has happened and was interviewing one of the organizers briefly before he left the scene around 8pm. He reported on VOA Amharic yesterday that few hundreds Ethiopians and few government supporters were condemning and supporting Meles respectively.
On April 28, 2012 at about 5:00 PM, unknown assailants attacked workers at the Saudi Star compound, killing innocent people. According to what we have heard, a total of ten people or more were killed, with eleven others wounded. Six of the dead were foreigners from Pakistan; allegedly agricultural experts, hired by Saudi Star. The other four were Ethiopians; including an Anuak local police officer defending the workers.
Persistent disobedience of God’s will and God’s ways always produces a hardening. Every time you commit a sin you become less sensitive. Every time you repeat a sin your conscience troubles you less than it did before. As a person go on repeating the same or similar act of sin, he/she will exhibit less and less shame and less and less remorse. No need to explain this. We all know it is true and that we all experience it on our daily lives with varying degrees.
Over the last 10 years since September 11, 2011, the War on Terror has dramatically changed its meaning particularly when the minority genocidal regime in Ethiopia, with the blessing and financing of the US, is manipulating, using and abusing it. For the minority regime of Meles Zenawi, terrorism and the war on terror has become a blessing giving him freedom to abuse the Ethiopian people and commit acts of aggression everywhere in the region in the name of fighting terror.
The final respond I got from the Editor is accusing me of sending “nasty emails” which it failed to post for all to see. Because it has none! For the record in the last seven years of participating on Internet no one has accused me for sending “nasty emails”.
The idea of an Ethiopian government in exile has been mooted for some time. The purpose of this piece is to examine the viability of that government and the chance (probability) of success in forming it given the lack of trust among the opposition forces to unite. Besides, there is already one formed by the Crown Council of Ethiopia in exile.
