STOP VOA’S HENOK SEMAGZER BIASED REPORTING. WE NEED UNBIASED REPORTING

We, Ethiopian community in U.S.A and all over the world submitting this petition to request the service of VOA, Amharic program to make sure that VOA Amharic service journalist Henok Semaegzer Fente is serving the Ethiopia people, his audience, free and fair with out being biased and supporting a dictatorial regime in Ethiopia and opposing others. We completely disagree with his service which doesn’t meet the quality of journalism in general. We hope that the service provider, The Government of U.S.A, will respect the need of Ethiopia community and take appropriate action to keep the quality of its service providing in Amharic o language and moreover in general.

    VOA has already become untrusted media outlet.Broadcasting incorrect fragmented news and information to the listenrs is absolutely being irrisponsible and a diservece to the listener.Yes,Henock,your professinalism is a reflection of the culture of VOA,as a whole.

    Henock,if not sure about what you are doing,don’t do it;pause for a little and ask yourself the right question.One of the option you had on assigned task at G8 summit,when not sure about what to do, was to note broadcast that particular news rather than witholding the news.

    I get my news from ESAT because ESAT is trusted.

    The question that I would ask Henok is: If it were not for ESAT, was that the only information we could get from you about this big event?
