(Reuters) — Bereaved families tussled with rescue workers on Tuesday at the site of an Ethiopian rubbish dump where a landslide killed 65 people this weekend.

Relatives pushed and shoved the handful of emergency workers, angrily accusing them of delays and saying dozens of people were still missing after Saturday’s disaster at the Reppi dump in the capital of Addis Ababa.

“Nobody is helping us. We are doing all the digging ourselves. It is shameful,” Kaleab Tsegaye, a relative of one victim told Reuters.

  1. A Travesty of Justic

Well the government is responsible for this. These are people once before had decent houses before EPRDF came and bulldozed their houses to make money for itself and its so called investors. It is busy selling land here and there, throwing people on streets and on dumping sites exposing them for all kinds of diseases and disaster like this.

While foreign media, interest groups, beneficiaries and investors applaud the regime to cover such crimes the unavoidable tragedy keeps happening. Even as we speak it is said, those victims, the unwanted and abandoned are going to be “resettled” by the same government that let them live and die on dumping sites.

Well every one that knows EPRDF and its supporters for the last 25 years knows that it is all the same kind of lie rolling out. It is a cover up this huge crime against humanity. Who in its right mind expect EPRDF, the HOME DESTROYER and the MAKER OF HOMELESS PEOPLE to resettle people into houses?
