Ethiopian Music: Teddy Afro New Song 2012

April 14, 2012

De Birhan blog

Happy Ethiopian Easter and Enjoy Teddy Afro’s album title and new song “Tekur Sew” meaning Black Person. Tribute to King Menelik II, Pride of the black race.

“Menelik’s force consisted of 82,000 rifle- and sword-armed infantry, 20,000 spearmen and 8,000 cavalry–the fierce Oromo horsemen roaring their war cry ‘Ebalgume! Ebalgume!’ (Reap! Reap!).” said a report from History net.

I like the song and most importantly I love Menlik who is the source of my pride. Did he kill Oromos and southernrs when he expanded to the south, yes he did. So did white Americans, the Germans, the French, the Russians and the Romans. No nation is assembled on “alga be alga”! But I don’t think Teddy did his history homework when he wrote his lyrics. The song has a mixed up story of every name mentioned except Menlik. Teddy must do his homework beofre he produces such artifact that goes form eneration to generation. For example, the father of Balcha is not Aba Nefso, it is Safo. Aba Nefso is his horse’s name.

Down with woyanne. Teddy afro’s tikur sew track is historical that grabbed the attention of his fans. And a blow for embarrased woyane who mishandle the glorified ethiopian history. I want to say the verse again…”woy salelew biker yane enen alhonim neber ene.” the last butnot the least is the adwa scene was remarkable victory of the whole ethiopian people not the bitch woyannes. Go to hell!!! Mother fuckers!!!

We learn from the past & minimize our differences to live now & in the bright future. We can’t afford your words in the 21st century as they drag us to live behind a century. 21st century is time for Science, Technology & Innovation not for tribalism.

Menilik is one of the greatest leader any where in the world that ever lived. Ignoble and ignorant men like Yilma Hager are blinded by malicious hoax.
It was this man who made us proud by hurling a devastating blow on European imperialists to make us free men. It was this man who brought modernism to this continent.

Minilik was a brilliant nation- builder who reuinited Ethiopia by surrounding himself by the nation’s most talented brains most of them Oromos, Amaras, Gurages, Tigre’s and others. He was as much an Oromo as he was an Amara. He was however, primarily an Ethiopian above all else.
The Woyane and Shabia-led servile Oromo groups are an embarrassment to proud and nationalist Oromos who built Ethiopia.
Minilik is blamed for a spurious genocide against 5 million Oromos. The shameful lie is that there were not even 5 million Ethiopians when he was the emperor of Ethiopia.
My brother Yilma, my proud Borena ancestors did not move from the South of Ethiopia to where they are today, in Wollo without anihilating or subjugating the other Ethiopians who came in their ways. I am a very proud Borena. That does not stand in my way being an extremely proud Ethiopia. I feel so because I am cognisant of my history. No nation grew without blood spilled.
But Minilik was perhaps the most magnanimous, fair and astute leader our country ever had in the last couple of centuries.

Minilik’s greartest advisors and military leader were men like the genius Gobena , Balcha, etc were Oromos. The the brilliant legal mind, Habte Giorgis who presided over so many disputes and gave phenomenal verdicts over the years, was an Oromo and Gurage.
Be a proud Oromo Yilma as you are ancestors have given as much to this nation as the Amaras and others. Your undue inferiority complex has made you a laughing stock of the Woyane and Sahabia. Stop playing the inferior position. Minilik was as much yours as he was Ethiopi’s angafa son. Descendants of traitor Eritrean and Tigreans who have emerged as Woyane and Sahabia have some reasons to bear grudgeagainst him. He gave them a bloody nose while they were serving their white masters. Their inferiority complex is justified on that score.
The enemy Woyane regime has done its homework to make fools like you believe in fallacies. Finally I say to Yilma, ‘Oboleseko, negati.
Long Live the motherland. May Miniliks’s soul rest in peace.

Interesting, TEDDY made it again! We are lucky to have artists like this strong and creative man who came to save Ethiopia at the right time. Hope Ethiopians will use this song wisely to dismantle the philosophy of Legesse Zenawi, i.e disintegrating Ethiopia and vanishing Amharas and oromos in Ethiopian soil, which is the replica of Italians neo- colonization strategy. God has send this singer to sing for Ethiopia, to call Ethiopians for Ethiopia, to loud our sounds to the world ……Hope other artists will evaluate their soul and ready to do their best to save Ethiopia. If they fail to do so , they will for sure be interrogated in Ethiopian history in the future. I strongly believe God always save Ethiopia for sure. The biblical history of Ethiopia boldly ascertain this fact. Thank you Teddy again, since you made my EASTER Holiday so memorable. God Bless Ethiopia and its lovely people!

Teddy is hero because he is the right person at the right time. At the right time because the dictator(Zenawi) after stealing the people voice by force is living in a dream by comparing himself with our ancestors. He, the dictator, let alone with Emiye Minilik cannot be compared with the worst leaders in the world. So, Teddy’s new Album will be to silence the dictator (Zenawi) from comparing his worst oppressing time with the others.
Above all, Teddy’s Tikur Sew has substance in uniting the people in this hard time confronting a dictator breaking away the country into pieces and selling the land to foreiners. After all the dictator is BANDA.

    Eskindir, Andualem, Teddy, Birtukan…

What a wonderful creation! This is one great artist that Ethiopia is blessed to have. He is intelligent , creative, proud, and above all not ready to sale his soul for money or to submit to intimidation. Let’s not use one wide brush for all artists. suggesting Teddy to be in the same camp as those hode ader artist tebeye will be nothing less than blasphemy. Love you Teddy!
